MLC 2006 for Shore based personnel Training Course
The Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 or MLC 2006 has become the "fourth pillar" of the international regulatory regime for quality shipping. MLC 2006 brings together minimum standards for a safe and secure workplace and fair terms of employment. MLC 2006 also secures decent working and living conditions and health protection. It is important that those on board have knowledge of the Convention, and can assist in maintaining compliance with it.
The International Labour Organisation has adopted the Maritime Labour Convention. All ships within scope, which are 500 tons and above and operating in international trade, must have a Maritime Labour Certificate documenting compliance with the MLC requirements.
On completion of this course you will receive a course diploma from Ocean TG powered by Seagull and Videotel.
